IAP Wins $100 Million NASA Ames Facility Maintenance Award
Cape Canaveral, FL – IAP Worldwide Services was awarded the facilities maintenance services contract at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, CA. The contract has a maximum dollar value of $101.8 million over a three-year base period with one two-year option.
The contract, which is part indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity fixed-price task order and part cost-plus, fixed-fee, begins Oct. 1, and is a continuation of work IAP has performed at Moffett Field since September 2000.
“Being able to continue our work at NASA Ames reflects the hard work our employees have put in over the last 10 years,” Dave Jackson, Vice President of Base Operations Support Services, said. “We’re excited to continue working with our NASA partners.”
Much of the work performed under this contract is firm fixed price work that includes responding to trouble calls, tracking and documentation, scheduling and performing preventative maintenance, maintenance engineering services and adverse weather condition response support.
